Obituary for Dean Lee Johnson Pound- Dean Lee Johnson passed away on Saturday, December,15 2018 with family and friends by his side. He was born February 24, 1953 in Oconto Falls, to the late Lee and Norma (Erickson) Johnson. On October 14, 1989 he Married Sandy (Valentine) Johnson, Dean from Kelly Lake, WI.

Moved to pound WI, 2002 Dean was an over the road trucker for many years, the last ten years shuttling for PTI retiring in 2013 due to an illness. He enjoyed, bear hunting with his hunting family, and three special children that called him grandpa, Kelson, Kallen , Kalista, and he love gardening, NASCAR, Packers games Dean loved teasing the waitresses, and his hospice care takers Melissa, Ashley, Danielle , Sheena, Nicole and Kace. Survivors include his wife Sandy, sister LoAnn (Scott) Elbe, brother Darel (Charlotte) Johnson, nephew Jonathan Johnson, Step sons Dan (Brenda) Matuszewski,Don Matuszewski, precious Granddaughter Danielle Matuszewski, niece Renee (James) Hopkins, nephew John (Special friend Margaret) VerVoren, sister in law Barbara (Peter) Pawlak, Elizabth ( Special friend Lee Hanstedt) VerVoren, uncles Orlin Erickson, special friends Jeff VerBruggen, Ray Jagodinski, Dorothy Zabel, Rusty and Mary Ann Englemann, Betty Kline, Sandi Parks, Jean Hasen.

Dean was preceded in death by his father Lee and mother Norma (Erickson) Johnson, brother in-law Clayton VerVoren. Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Living Waters Lutheran LCMC Church 3007 CTY RD, Business 141 CP Pound, visitation 10:00 to 11:00 memorial services starts at 11:00 with Pastor Bill Retza officiating. The family would like to thank Unity hospice staff for all the care and support they have given during this time.
