Deborah Lynn Walker Parker of Walnut Cove, NC passed away on July 18, 2018. She was born in Winston-Salem, NC to Terry Lovell Walker (deceased) and Joyce Irene Wooten (Deceased) on August 2, 1956. She was raised by her loving foster parents Mr. and Mrs. Dallas (Mary) Davis (Both Deceased) of Tobaccoville, NC.

She is survived by her daughter, Tomi Gortman, Tomi’s husband, Shawn, their three kids, Lucas, Nikki, and Ryan, and great-granddaughter Isabelle Gortman, all of Myrtle Beach, SC. She is also survived by three sisters, Joy (Jerry) Lawson, Donna (Rufus) Lane, and Ashleigh (Andrew) Key, a brother, Johnny (Kathy) Walker, two foster sisters, Rachel (Guy) Holcomb and Janice (Phil) Nichols, a step-mother, Arlene Absher, and many nieces and nephews. She didn’t meet a stranger and considered most everyone a friend, loved every animal she passed by, and thought her grand kids and great granddaughter hung the moon.

She’ll be missed by many.
