Debra Deronda Higginbotham Smith, age 65, of Lindon, AL. passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2019 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will begin 1 hour prior to the service at 1:00. She is preceded by her parents: Marion Columbus and Flora Jenette Higginbotham, and step father: Deramus Nichols.

Debra is survived by her husband of 43 years: James Ray Smith; children Betty Jean (Todd) Gardner, Rita Luker, Lita Wallace, Terry Ballard, Brenda Smith, Denise (Tony) Payton, grandchild: Venessa Stedman, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be: Roger Nichols, Joey Foxhall, Johnny Garner, Greg Sanders, rich Pendergrass, Kenny Jones, and Jason Higginbotham.
