Banks, 87 of Watson Community, died Thursday March 28, 2019 at his home. He was born February 19, 1932 in Bertram, TX to parents William Franklin Banks and Myrtle Flossie (Kirkpatrick) Banks. Delbert grew up in the area and finished school at Briggs.

He later married Nedra Elmina Morris and they moved to Lubbock area, where he worked in the dry cleaning industry. He owned his own dry cleaner business for many years. The family moved back to Watson in 2001.

Delbert liked classic cars and camping. He is survived by his wife, Nedra Banks Sons; Richard Banks and Randall Banks (Jamie) Daughters; Glenda Browning and Janice Stevens (Martin) 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren Delbert was preceded in death by his parents, by brothers, Hershel, Johnny and Bill and by sister, Dorothy. Funeral service will be Saturday March 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel.

Burial will follow in Watson Cemetery.
