Lloyd Edward Prine Jr. September 18, 1946 – March 12, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Lloyd Edward Prine Jr., 72 passed away at his home in Lampasas and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday March 12, 2019. A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday March 15, 2019 at Faith Lutheran Church in Lampasas with Pastor Tim Oschner officiating. Eddie was born September 18, 1946 to Lloyd Edward Prine Sr. and Ona Mae (Herndon) Prine in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He was in the Air Force from 1965 until 1970 and began a career with GTE/Verizon, retiring after 25 years of service. He worked his way up from the ground floor to section manager. He met and married Vivian Marie Martin August 2, 1980.

He was a founding member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Talladega, Alabama. He was very active in St. John’s Lutheran Church in Stuttgart, Arkansas, and Faith Lutheran Church in Lampasas where he served as an elder. He was preceded in death by his wife Vivian Prine and by his father Lloyd Edward Prine Sr. Survivors include his Mother, Ona Mae Prine; Daughter, Mary Michelle Langford and husband Michael Langford; Son, Andy Prine; Sister, Mary Ann Mannen and 6 grandchildren; Mason Prine and wife Rebekah Prine, Madison Prine, Lara Langford, Peyton Langford, Harper Langford, and Watson Langford.

Eddie was a loving husband, father, son, and Grandad. He was a giver and faith mentor to many. He touched everyone that had the pleasure to know him.
