Ms. Della Mae Brown, age 82 of the Bimble community in Barbourville, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018, in the Barbourville Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was born on March 15, 1936, in Scalf, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Tilford and Thelma Hobbs Brown. Along with her parents, Della was preceded in death by her sister; Ludeania Collins and a granddaughter, Christy Lynn Brown.

She is survived by her son; Noah Jones: Her daughters; Pam Rice (Dennis) of Trosper, Debra Hunt of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and Kathern Wintek (Tom) of Frankfort: Her loving grandchildren: Shannon Hunt, Chris Hunt, Charla Hunt, Asberry Brown Jr., Niki Jones and husband Marty and Stephen Wintek and wife Sarah. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives left behind to mourn her passing. Funeral services for Ms. Della Mae Brown will be conducted in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, July 27, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. with Rev.

Mike Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Tad Goodin Cemetery in Bell County with grandsons and nephews serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Cooney & staff at Access Family Health, Richard Pickle, and Tina Rice.

Friends may call at the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home on Friday, after 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 2:00 P.M.
