Delmar “Dale” Wayne Jacobs, 58, of Bellevue passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 at his home. He was born October 23, 1959 the son of Valcie Wayne and Anna Lee (Bolen) Jacobs. Dale graduated from Bellevue High School in 1978 and worked for Capitol Aluminum & Glass until 1996 when he and Cynthia moved to Tacoma, WA where they lived for almost 20 years.

While in Washington he worked for Nestle Corp. In 2015 he and Cynthia moved back to Bellevue so he could spend time with his father and be with his family. He worked for Crown Battery as an operator for almost two and a half years.

Dale was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing activities that he had cherished with his father and brothers throughout his entire life. Although Bellevue was his hometown, he considered Washington his second home and cherished the twenty years he lived there and all the adventures he and Cynthia had, from camping on the Pacific Ocean, whitewater rafting, and especially all the time spent on Mount Rainier, which he loved so much. He is survived by his life partner of 24 years, Cynthia Sberna of Bellevue; mother, Anna Lee Jacobs, of Bellevue; siblings: Keith Jacobs, Ron Jacobs, and Tammy (Walt) Sberna; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; Cynthia’s parents: Sam and RoseAnn Sberna; and brother, Scott Sberna.

Dale was preceded in death by his father, Valcie Jacobs in 2015; maternal grandparents, Elzie and Anna Mae (Wooten) Bolen; paternal grandparents, Golden and Osa (Pullins) Jacobs; and great nephew, Tyler Zahel. Friends will be received on Sunday April 29, 2018 from 2-8 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Harry Hunt will begin on Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
