Elaine A. Holmer, 83, of Bellevue passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at her home. She was born February 22, 1935 in Bellevue the daughter of Leo and Esther (Shirack) Orians. Elaine was a member of St. Gaspar del Bufalo Church, the Altar Rosary Society, and the former Daughters of Isabella.

She was very proud of her children, adored her grandchildren and loved to attend their different events. She enjoyed playing cards, notably pinochle and euchre, especially the monthly games with her card club; and “getting a bite to eat” with her husband and friends. Elaine married Robert Holmer, September 7, 1957 at Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue.

He survives along with their four children: Jerry (Renee) Holmer of Bellevue, Sharon (Alvin) Zeller of Bellevue, Janice (Tim) Watson of Bellevue, and Kathy (Mark) Kaple of New Washington; 6 grandchildren: Jacob (Ashley) Holmer, Emily Zeller, Bryan Zeller, Brad Watson, Curtis (Lauren) Watson, and Janelle Watson; 3 great grandchildren: Brynnleigh, Jarrett, and Ryan Watson. Elaine is preceded in death by her parents. Friends will be received on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 2-8 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where the Rosary will begin at 1:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 23 at St. Gaspar del Bufalo Church, 16209 E. County Road 46, Bellevue.

Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.
