Racheal (Dodson)Baker, 64, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Promedica Hospital in Toledo OH. Racheal was born July 15, 1953, the daughter of Regina and Raphael Dodson. She was a lifelong resident of Bellevue.

Racheal was a 1971 graduate of Bellevue Senior High School. Racheal was employed many years at Firelands Federal Credit Union, Miller’s Ice Cream, Thomas Steel and the local Bellevue grain elevator. Over the years she touched the hearts of many whom she had worked with.

She was a 4H advisor for 45 yrs. , and a long standing Bellevue Alumni and Lyme Township trustee board member. She enjoyed serving her community.

Her heart of gold was known by many. She loved to plant flowers around her house, the smell of her lilac bushes filling the air. She loved being outside doing yard work, raising animals with her sons for the fair, cooking for people, and hosting family reunions.

Going to the casino with her niece Liz Fisher now and then was a favorite treat. Her sons and grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved them above all else, taking them camping, to Jungle Junction, and on trips to Chicago and Disney World.

She loved to make their lives fun. Racheal is survived by her son Kyle Baker of Chicago, IL, grandchildren Mia Baker and Max Baker of Bellevue, brother Tony(Sally) Dodson of Port Charlotte, FL, sister Darleen(Don) Christopher of Fremont, and Sister Jeanie(Dennis) Feuerstein of Bellevue. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Racheal was preceded in death by son Eric Baker, parents Regina and Raphael Dodson, and Grandma Joyce Baker. Visitation will be on Sunday May 6th, 2018 from 12:00pm until service begins at 4:00pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, OH 44811. Reception will follow at VFW 2001 E Main St. Bellevue, OH 44811.
