Obituary for Delores A. Fredrickson Delores A. Fredrickson, age 81, of Waupaca, WI, passed away on Tuesday, May 29th, 2018 at Theda Care Medical Center-Waupaca. She was born in Elbowoods, ND on November 26, 1936, a daughter of the late Gordon and Rose (Smetana) Gunsten. She married Donald Fredrickson on September 14, 1957 in the Town of Farmington, Waupaca Co., WI.

He preceded her in death on February 14, 1972. She was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in Waupaca.

After her retirement from the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, Delores worked part time as a Bailiff at the Waupaca Co. Courthouse. Delores enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, gardening, bowling, camping and Wednesday Night Garbage Night with family and friends. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include her Children: Delyse (Kent) Nelson, Waupaca, WI; Dacia (Special Friend – Andy Replogle) Fredrickson, Waupaca, WI; Darand Fredrickson, Waupaca, WI; Grandchildren: Joseph (Whitney) Nelson, North Prairie WI; Timothy Nelson, Waupaca, WI; Sisters: Estella (Mike) Ryan, Waupaca, WI; Sandra (Gary) Hecker, Weyauwega, WI; Brother-in-law: Pat Burke, Weyauwega, WI; Nephews: Rick (Jenny) Ryan, Waupaca, WI; Scott (Kari) Ryan, Winneconne, WI; Greg (Myra) Burke, Weyauwega, WI. Niece: Michelle Burke, Appleton, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband – Donald Fredrickson, sister – Marilynn Burke The Funeral Service will be held at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waupaca at 11 AM on Friday, June 1st, 2018, with Rev.

Ron Siemers, officiating. Interment will be at Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King, WI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 4 until 7 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca and on Friday, from 10 AM until the time of the service at the church.
