Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel followed by a memorial service at 10 a.m. with Pastor David Flemming officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date.

Dennis was born in Seguin, Texas on October 17, 1951 to Glenn and Ola Mae (Reneau) Baker. He was a 1970 graduate of Seguin High School. Dennis loved spending time among family and friends, he also enjoyed collecting Native American Art.

Traveling was Dennis’s most cherished hobby, especially in the Western portion of the United States. Dennis enjoyed many trips out to Big Bend and he was a firm believer of Bigfoot, and other folklore. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Debra (Fritz) Baker, his father-in-law Atlee Fritz, and mother-in-law, Ruby Ida (Merz) Fritz.

Survivors include his parents, Glenn and Ola Mae Baker of Kingsbury, Texas; son, Russell W. Baker and wife Jennifer of Kingsbury, Texas; daughter, Audrey A. Dwyer and husband Mike of Jefferson, Texas; grandchildren, Brooke and Lauren Baker, Ruby-Jean and Johanna Dwyer, and Evan Nutt; brothers, Barry Baker, Ronnie Baker (Becky) and Jay Baker; brother-in-law, Atlee Fritz (Linda); sisters-in-law, Janice Reaves (Alan), Denise Dominic (Paul), and Tina Preuss (Joey); numerous other loving family members and many many loving friends. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society 196 Townsend Rd. Seguin, TX 78155, American Heart Association 7272 Greenville Avenue; Dallas, TX 75231-4596, or a Charity of one’s choice.
