Obituary for Dennis Lee Basinger Dennis Lee Basinger a resident of Choctaw was born May 14, 1951 in Shawnee, Ok to Evelyn (Baldwin) Clements and Troy Basinger. He passed away September 8, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Ok at the age of 67. He moved to the Oklahoma City area as a child and graduated from Moore High School in 1969.

As a young man he joined the Army Reserves. He married Cyndi Lee Buchanan on April 14, 1998 in Choctaw, Ok. He and Cyndi moved to Choctaw in 1999.

He was a truck driver who delivered sand and cleared roads for the state during inclement weather. He was an athlete all his life who ran marathons, he enjoyed being a craftsman, bee keeping, and he was a family man. He was a member of Harmony Christian Church.

Dennis is survived by his wife Cyndi Basinger of Choctaw, Ok, son; Kerry and JaNae Basinger, their children; Miranda, Kamdon, Reagan, Branson, and Shepard of Salina, Ks, son; Jason and Kelli Basinger, their children Noah, Grace, and Hannah of Broken Arrow, Ok; daughter; Krystle and Jeremy Sanders, their dogs; Roxy, Wyatt, and Harley of Oklahoma City, Ok; daughter; Samantha and Orlando, their children; Addy, and Cora of Kodiak, Ak, mother Evelyn Clements of Oklahoma City, Ok, sister; Sheila and Preston Glenn of Moore, Ok; sister Terri and Mike Kendrick of Norman, Ok. Dennis was preceded in death by his father Troy Basinger in 1997. Memorial services will be held Wednesday September 12, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Harmony Christian Church in Choctaw, Ok.
