Dennis R. Wyatt, age 52, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital in Asheville. Born in Charleston, South Carolina on March 19, 1966, he was the son of Betty Woody Wyatt of Bakersville, North Carolina and the late Thomas R. Wyatt. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Brandon Shane Wyatt, who passed away August 3, 2016.

A loving husband, son, brother and friend, Dennis, who had a sense of humor, was full of life and enjoyed classic cars, spending time on the lake, snow skiing; and riding motorcycles. He was a registered nurse, and for over 10 years had worked at Frye Regional Medical Center South Campus in Hickory. In addition to his mother, he was survived by his loving wife, Helen Thalheimer Wyatt of the home; two sisters, Dianne Guinn (Chris) of Bakersville and Sandra Franklin (Ken) of Marion; one sister-in-law, Terra Wyatt of Old Fort; and two nephews, Zane and William Wyatt.

A celebration of Mr. Wyatt’s life will be held and will be announced once the date and time have been confirmed.
