Dessie Irene Camden November 15, 1929 – January 12, 2019 Share this obituary Local Florists Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Services for Dessie Irene Camden, 89, of Center, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Bienhoff Funeral Home in Center with Reverend Robert Axton officiating and Pastor Brandon Brosi assisting. Burial will be in Center Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Camden passed away at 12:20 p.m. January 12, 2019 at Monroe Manor Nursing Home in Paris. She was born November 15, 1929, in Bunker, the daughter of Robert Lee and Eva Adeline Patterson Terrill. She married Gordon Leverne Camden, October 16, 1945 in Bunker and he preceded her in death on October 29, 1998.

Survivors include: two sons, Gordon W. (Carolyn) Camden of Hannibal and Ronnie J. (Glenda) Camden of Center; one daughter, Ellen Camden of Center; two brothers, Oman Terrill of Bunker and Kenneth Terrill of Holts Summit; one sister, Velma Ferguson of Salem; seven grandchildren, Ronnie Camden, Kent Camden, Patrick Camden and Melinda Camden, all of Center, Kimberly Knorr of Palmyra, Brandon Brosi of Monroe City,and Lacy Riechmann of Paris; and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Dennis (Blue) Camden and three brothers, Lawrence Terrill, Denver Terrill and Amos Terrill. Mrs. Camden was a lifetime area resident and member of the Little Vine Baptist Church in Bunker.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, quilting, baking and spending time with family. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Camden, Patrick Camden, Levi Camden, Douglas Camden, Kent Camden, Evin Brothers, Josh Bunn and Aiden Camden with Aiden Knorr carrying her Bible. Honorary Pallbearers will be her remaining grandchildren and great grandchildren.
