Destiny’s Obituary Destiny Iman Dennis, age 21, of Bryant, Arkansas, formerly of Little Rock, Arkansas was born on March 5, 1997 in Little Rock to Marcus Deshawn Dennis and Emily Anne Martin. Destiny gained her wings on Friday, January 4, 2019, while in Jacksonville, Florida. In her early childhood, Destiny attended KAA (Kids Across America) Camp where she rang the bell, accepting Christ as her Savior, at the early age of 9.

Destiny graduated from J.A Fair High School in Little Rock in 2015 and continued her education at Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA. She was always very independent and believed in doing things her way. Destiny found joy in fashion and was known for her glamourous looks and bubbly attitude.

She was very loving, kind hearted and giving. Destiny was proceeded in death by her grandfathers: Clyde Dennis and Clifford T. Martin. Destiny will be forever loved, missed and remembered by her precious baby girl Marle’i Jane Hammonds of Bryant; father, Marcus Deshawn Dennis (Keniesha) of Dallas, TX; mother, Emily Anne Martin (Lamont) of Bryant, AR; nine brothers: Cal “PJ” Jarrett , Marcus Dennis Jr., Joshua Martin, Jacob Martin all of Bryant, Kolby Dennis of Hillsboro, KS, Marcellus Dennis of Dallas, TX, Jakolby Dennis and Kevin Dennis both of Little Rock and Antwon Dennis of New York City, NY; one sister, Markayzia Dennis of Carrollton, TX; two grandmothers: Malinda Johnson(Raymond) and Sharon Marie Dennis both of Little Rock; a special friend, Malcolm Hammonds and a host of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Destiny’s precious baby girl Marle’i’s trust account. The information will post at a later date. Destiny’s Home Going Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 pm, on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Union A. M. E. Church (1825 South Pulaski Street, Little Rock, AR 72206).

Rev. Dr. Milton Graham(pastor of Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church-Little Rock) will deliver her eulogy. There will be a visitation at Union Church on Saturday from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm.

A repass will be held at the church immediately following the funeral.
