OBITUARY Diana D. Taylor July 4, 1942 – October 11, 2018 Diana Darlene Taylor, 76 years of age, passed away October 11, 2018 in Irving, Texas. Diana was born on July 4, 1942 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Woodrow Box and Florence Couger. Diana was the family rock.

She married her High School sweetheart, Carl, in 1958. Her life was full. She was a jack of all trades, working in the construction business, as well as, selling aloe vera products.

She would suntan at the pool, she loved boating and playing cards at the golf club in the 1980s. Diana cheated death several times, including having a bad car accident in 1981, taking a long time to fully recover. But she was feisty, a firecracker!

She loved her children and her Yorkie, Sugar. She always dressed to the nines, , jewelry, her hair and makeup done, as she called it, “Taylorized”. Diana is preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Florence Box.

Diana is survived by her husband, Carl Taylor; children, Jeff Taylor, Angela Kinney (Bobby), Tim Taylor ( Fiancé, Cheryl): grandchildren, Lauren (Dennis) Hughes and Briana S. Taylor; and great grandchildren, Ransom Hughes, Kaden Fimbres, and Kennedi Hughes. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 5:00 pm on Friday, October 19, 2018 at the Grand Prairie Funeral Home Chapel, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, Texas. Funeral Service will follow at 5:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
