Visitation Monday, November 12, 2018 3-7 PM at Hamp Funeral Home Funeral Mass Tuesday, November 13, 2018 1 PM at St. Francis of Assisi Church Diane (nee Meyers) Krause, age 79, of Tonawanda, died Friday, November 9, 2018 at Kenmore Mercy Hospital after a brief illness. Born June 26, 1939 in Neenah, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Florence and Irene (nee Houpt) Meyers and was a resident of Tonawanda for the greater part of her life. Diane was a legal secretary for Attorney Robert Nicely before retiring and had been a longtime member of the Erie-Niagara Sunrise Exchange Club and The Friends of the Riviera Theatre.

She was a volunteer for many organizations including the United Way of the Tonawandas and the Historical Society of the Tonawandas. But, most of all, she was devoted to her family and was an amazing grandmother. She was the beloved wife of Paul C. Krause; mother of Paul C. Krause, Jr. of North Tonawanda and Mark (Krista) Krause of Snyder; grandmother of Thomas, Rachel, Kaitlyn, William, and Leela; and sister of Karen Schroeder of San Diego, California, Patricia Mueller of Texas City, Texas, and the late Darlene Jones, Richard Meyers, and John Meyers.

Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 3-7 PM on Monday only at the HAMP FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 37 Adam Street at Seymour, Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 PM Tuesday in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 150 Broad Street at Clinton Park, Tonawanda; the Rev.

Michael Uebler officiating. Friends invited. If desired, memorials to the Erie Niagara Sunrise Exchange Club are preferred by the family.
