Obituary for Diane R. Patchin Patchin, Diane R. Age 74. September 28, 2018. Diane was born on July 13, 1944 in Berkley to Lucius and Shirley (nee Johnson) Patchin.

She attended Henry Ford School of Nursing and during her career worked at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak and Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. In 1992 she moved to Maple City and was employed as a critical care nurse at Munson Medical Center. Diane enjoyed being outdoors, especially walking and in the winter months, cross country skiing.

In her spare time, she kept busy with crafts, painting and doting on her beloved dogs and cats. She was an amazing single mom, raising her sons, Luke (Beth) Sandzik and Marcus (Tracie) Sandzik. Proud grandmother of Hanna, Maxwell, Benjamin, Katie and Jacob.

Dear sister of Alice (George) McLeod, Margy Valentine and Ellen Bowden. She will also be missed by her faithful cat, Missy. Memorial contributions may be made to Paws with a Cause, 1328 Wheaton, Troy 48083.
