Memorial services for Dianne Bohannon Shelton, age 67 of Talmo will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Hillside Memorial Chapel with Rev. Johnny Shelton officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM.

Mrs. Shelton passed away July 28, 2018 following a breif illness. Born in Clarkesville, Georgia on July 19, 1951, Mrs. Shelton was the daughter of Pearl Farmer Bohannon and the late Lloyd Bohannon. Mrs. Shelton was of the Baptist faith and she worked in textiles for Skaps Industries.

In addition to her father, Mrs. Shelton is preceded in death by her husband Ollie “Eddie” Shelton, and brothers David Bohannon and Larry Bohannon. Survivors include daughters and sons in law April B. and Chris Smith of Commerce, Tammy B. and Keith Whitlock of Commerce, Nekeeshia and Allen Maddox of Kathleen, son and daughter in law James R. and Jenna Nations of Colbert, brothers and sisters in law Thomas and Joani Bohannon of Gillsville and Marty and Annette Bohannon of Demorest, sister and brother in law Brenda B. and Jimmy Beavers of Navarre, Florida, grandchildren Elizabeth Bohannon, Megan Whitlock, Kevin Fleming, Nathan Wood, Jacob Smith, Rebekah Smith, Bryant Maddox, Allison Gallenbeck, Cohen Nations, Cayli Pearl Nations, eight step grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Special Olympics of Banks County, ℅ Tondra Boswell, 335 Evans Street, Homer, GA 30547 or by visiting the Homer Branch of Regions Bank.
