The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 3:00 Pm until 5:00 PM. Mr. Johnston passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018.

Born on January 14, 1945 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Mr. Johnston was the son of the late Robert and Ruth Schaffer Johnston. Mr. Johnston was a Flooring Consultant for Torlys and he was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran. Survivors include his wife Margaret Fitzpatrick Johnston of Clarkesville, daughter and son in law Deirdre and William Gambrell of Lawrenceville, sons Daniel Johnston of San Francisco, California and Luke Johnston of Las Vegas, Nevada, brothers Alan Johnston (Lillian) of Nashua, New Hampshire and David Johnston (Evie) of Wilton, New Hampshire, and grandchildren Natalie Gambrell and Dane Gambrell.
