SHARON TWP. —Dianne Marie Ranftl (Pavey), 67, was gifted to the world in Sault Ste. Marie, MI and her Soul returned to the Lord on May 7, 2018.

She was fearless, loving, & talented. She could put her mind to anything & do it. She loved to sew, crochet, spin wool, weave & knit.

She led Prince of Peace’s Prayer Shawl Ministry. She loved chai tea, kalua & cream, Neil Diamond, flower gardening & raised Chesapeake’s. She converted to Catholicism 50 years ago & prayed the rosary daily.

She was an entrepreneur & owned her own business, ‘Paws ‘N’ Tails’. She managed the Brunswick Yum Yum Tree for many years. She retired from her job as Admin Asst to Medina Commissioners Office & dedicated her life full time to her family.

She tended to her late mother-in-law Julia Ranftl and brother-in-law Russel Ranftl throughout their illnesses. Her family meant everything to her. She leaves behind her Beloved husband of 50 years William Ranftl, her precious daughter Patricia Ranftl & her pride and joy, granddaughter Violet.

Her favorite job was being grandma. She was the rock of her family & gave 110% of herself. She was an example of fortitude, selflessness & Christian love.

Though she is gone from this world, her example shines within all of those she touched. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave. , Norton.

Interment at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Medina. Calling Hours Thursday from 5-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton.
