Marjorie Lou Irwin, passed away at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at the age of 85. Born in Misco, Ohio, on May 28, 1933, she had been a resident of the Barberton/Norton area since 1953. Margie retired from Barberton Citizens Hospital after 16 years of service.

Her biggest joys in her life were God, her family and her home. She spent most of her time tending to her beautiful flower gardens which were marveled by everyone. She was adored by all who knew her.

Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, George; parents Zephaniah and Maude Lanning; sisters, Janice and Barbara Lanning; brothers, George and Russell Lanning. Marge will lovingly be remembered by her children, Jacquelynn Irwin, George (Debra) Irwin, Lee Ann (Mark) Goehler and Jeff (Crystal) Irwin; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Annalee Campbell and Judy Hollingshead along with numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. Marge’s family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 26th from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave.

, Barberton 44023. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday at 12 Noon with Roy Thompson officiating. Burial to follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
