Amanda C. Mills, 34, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018. A life resident of the Akron area, she was a 2003 graduate of Coventry High School and graduated from the University of Akron in 2009. Amanda was employed by Barberton Summa Health for five years.

She was a member of the Sweetheart Ball and Cotillon Committee, Pink Hat Society and volunteered at Summa Barberton with over 2500 hours of service. Amanda was a member of Barberton First Church of Christ and Immaculate Conception. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Marianne and Robert McArtor and Dale and Shirley Mills.

Amanda is survived by her parents, Tom and Patty Mills; sister, Katie Mills; half-brother, Tom Baughman; grandmother, Martha McArtor; special cousin, David Corey; aunts and uncles, Janet Corey, Martha Brumbaugh, Debbie Rupert and Mark McArtor; along with other family members and friends. Amanda’s family will receive friends Tuesday, July 31st (TONIGHT) at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave, Barberton 44203 from 5 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday, August 1st at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 2101 17th Street, S.W., Akron, Ohio 44314 with Fr. Michael Smith, celebrant.
