Irene G. Lloyd (nee House), 88, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 11, 2018. She retired from Babcock & Wilcox with over 25 years of service. Irene was active with Barberton Band Boosters and was a chaperone on many band trips.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Barberton and a 65 year member of Anna Dean Chapter #595 OES. Irene loved to travel the states and abroad. She looked forward to her Florida vacation in the months of November and December.

Preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Gladys House; husband of 59 years, Donald; daughter, Cherrie Cline and brother, George House. Irene is survived by her daughter, Kandi; special granddaughters, Ashley Cline (Johann Everson) and Kellie (Josh) Terry; special friend, Sylvia Herchek; numerous nieces and nephews and her pet dog, “Hollie”. The family would like to thank the Hospice nurses, Stacey and Danielle for all the care Irene received.

Funeral service will be held Monday, July 16th at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Barberton, 636 W. Park Ave. , Barberton 44203 with Rev. Reford Nash officiating.

Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Irene’s family will receive friends on Sunday, July 15th from 1 to 4 p.m., with an Eastern Star service at 4 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave. , Barberton 44203.

Visitation will also be from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.
