NEW FRANKLIN—Patricia “Patty” A. Herold, 82, passed away surrounded by her family on July 28, 2018. Patty was born in Barberton and was proud to work at the Cardinal Rubber Co. retiring after 45 years of service where she had an impeccable work ethic. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church and also the Ladies Ancient Order of the Hibernians and the Women of the Moose Lodge 729.

Patty was a loving daughter, a treasured sister and an adored aunt. She will be remembered for her caring ways and her outstanding sense of humor. She was always the life of the party and her stories of her youth will always be cherished.

She loved spending time with all of her many nieces and nephews and their children as well. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. Preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Mary; brothers Robert, George and Paul; and niece Mary Herold; She is survived by her sisters Dorothy Purdy and Joan and Janet Herold; brothers Charlie (Barbara) and Jim (Cathy); sister-in-law Patty Herold; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, August 3, 2018, 10:00 A.M. at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 4022 Johnson Rd. Norton. Interment at Sts.

Peter and Paul Cemetery. Calling Hours Thursday from 5-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, where prayers will be said Friday morning at 9:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
