Phyllis K. Powell, 73, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018. She was a life resident of Barberton and retired from Wadsworth City Schools. Preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Hazel Morgan; brother, Frederick Morgan and husband, Dan Powell.

Phyllis is survived by her son, Brian (Leslie) Powell; daughter, Beth (Kurt) Van Haunter; grandchildren, Nick Kuster (Jamie), Lindsey Kuster, Alex Carrell, Paige Carrell, Chelsey (Mark) Kippes and Emily Powell (fiancé, Todd); great-grandson Daniel Kuster and expected great-grandchild, “Jelly Bean” Kippes, along with her special friend that’s been by her side for several years, Carl Trew. Phyllis’ funeral service will be held Monday, July 2nd at 12 Noon at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave. , Barberton 44203 with Pastor Richard Lapehn officiating.

Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service.
