Mr. Dimitricus “Lynn” L. Eggleton, Sr. of Frankford, DE passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019. He was 53 years old. Mr. Eggleton worked as a Cook in various local restaurants.

He moved to Delaware from Belle Glade, FL about 10years ago. He loved cars and engines and could fix just about anything. He was a compassionate and honest man who also was a practical joker.

His pets were his fish and his bird “Tweet”. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Martina Phillips Eggleton of Frankford, DE; four children, Dimitricus Eggleton, Jr. of Martin Co., FL; Pernalver Eggleton (Krystal) of Lee City, TX; Trudy Eggleton ( fiancé Will Hudson) of Frankford, and Lovanda Phillips ( companion Glenn Sanders).

He is also survived by god-children, Allen and Alex Sheldon of Ocean City, MD; four grandchildren; Jaylin, Jamarcus, and Nevaeh Eggleton and Emir Sanders, Adopted Parents Tom and Karen Scarangella and their children Dylan and Kara; brother, Ralph Townsend, Jr., sister, Tangela Eggleton, and sister-in-law, Michelle M. Clapp. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews: Lerry Tatyana Frazier, Larry Frazier, Lamar Frazier, Lamar Joirdan Turnquest, Rickayla Lovanda Joi Watson, LaCharlesta Sharose Freeman, Lerriq Tanyana Frazier, Monique Frasier, Jarvis Easterling, Sara Townsend, Rashad, Kisa Zamora, and Jacita. A viewing will be held from 6 PM – 7 PM on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro, De 19966, where friends may call from 6 PM – 7 PM for viewing and visitation.
