Doelle’s Obituary Doelle (Jody) Peters passed peacefully on January 10th, 2019. Doelle was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 19th, 1955. At a young age, she moved with her mother and step-father to Leavenworth, Kansas.

Throughout her life, she valued family, helping those in need, and bringing joy to the people in her life. She was a passionate advocate for both animals and children. She dutifully cared for her family, and watched over both her parents, Douglas and Elsie House, and her brother, Douglas House, Jr., during their battles with illness.

Her greatest joy was found in being a grandmother, and she loved imparting wisdom to them. She is survived by her husband, Rock Peters, son and daughter-in-law Jason Phoenix and Nandini MacMillan, son and daughter-in-law Joshua and Becky Peters, her grandchildren Lillian and Benjamin Peters, and her brother Darrel House. Memorial service will take place on January 17th at 12:30pm at Memorial Chapel, Fort Leavenworth, KS.

Inurnment will follow at the Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery. Funeral procession will depart Davis Funeral Chapel at 11:30am. All are welcome to attend and celebrate her spirit of Aloha.

The family requests donations to CASA of Leavenworth, in memory of Doelle’s volunteer work.
