OBITUARY Dolly Hudson November 2, 1940 – September 6, 2018 Hudson, Carrie “Dolly” Wray, age 77, peacefully passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018. Dolly was born on November 2, 1940 in Emporia, Virginia to Lula and Howard Wray. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Dolly is survived by her son, Scott Hudson; her granddaughter, Jordan Marie Hudson; and her ex husband, Larry Hudson. Dolly moved to Richmond in her early 20’s and worked at Blue Cross/ Blue Shield as a customer service representative for 36 years. She enjoyed spending time in her yard as well as spending time with family and friends at her home on Lake Gaston.

Dolly doted over her darling granddaughter and never passed on an opportunity to travel to Myrtle Beach or on a cruise with her girlfriends. A viewing will be held at Woody Funeral Home – Parham Chapel on Tuesday, September 18th from 5 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be at Woody Funeral Home – Parham Chapel on Friday, September 19th at 11 am followed by a graveside service at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery.
