Dolores C. Litzinger age 83, of East Sparta, passed away Sunday November 25, 2018 with her daughter Sharon by her side. She was born January 20, 1935 at home in Burgettstown, PA, a daughter of the late Bruce and Anna Marie (Moore) Evantz, and had been a resident of this area 45 years. Dolores loved sitting in her recliner with her dog by her side watching her soaps and knitting or crocheting various items for the family.

She was a feisty woman with a generous heart. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Gerald R. “Dick” Litzinger, on April 29, 2002, whom she had married November 22, 1973, two of her children, George and Marcia Allen, and three brothers, Denny, Dickie, and Albert Evans. She is survived by three daughters and five sons, Sharon (boyfriend Domanick) Vissoc, Tammy (Steve) Lilly, Bobbi (Ed) Hughes, Jack (Carol) Andrews, Rick (Roxanne) Andrews, Bill (Karen) Andrews, Robert Hilliard, and David Litzinger; two sisters, Barbara Pierce and Bernadette Truex; along with 25 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren, and more on the way, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Celebrant Amy Downard officiating. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends may call Friday 12-2 p.m. before the service.
