DOLORES GRACE “DEE” ROPER, age 66 of Jemison, passed away on April 20, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Alabama on July 30, 1951; the daughter of the late Roland Sterling Pitts and the late Hazel Mae Corley Pitts. She was a former school bus driver for the Chilton County School System.

She is survived by: Husband, Gary L. Roper of Jemison; Daughter, Jennifer Leah Williams of Concord; Daughter, Tina Marie Ridings of Concord; Son, John Michael Pardo of Plainfield, IL; Granddaughter, McKenzie Grace Lawley of Concord; Grandson, Landon Terry Williams of Concord; and Brother, Terry L. Pitts of Birmingport. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 4:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
