CHARLES EDWARD “SLICK” BEAM, age 52 of Randolph, passed away on June 23, 2018 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster. He was born on January 23, 1966; the son of the late Charles William Beam and the late Wilma Cochran Beam. He was a logger.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Beam of Randolph; Children, Britney (Jason) Latham of Randolph, Whitney (Lance) Griggs of Centreville, and Kendal Beam of Randolph; Grandchildren, Jacee Latham of Randolph, Bailee Latham of Randolph, Brinley Latham of Randolph, Charley Latham of Randolph, Trinity Griggs of Centreville, and Trevor Griggs of Centreville; Siblings, Billy Wayne (Lynn) Beam of Randolph, Brenda (Charles) Freeman of Lawley, Linda (Billy) Tillery of Randolph, and Glenda (Roland) Jones of Randolph; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles William and Wilma Beam, and his brother, Bill Beam. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 2:00pm from Randolph Baptist Church with Rev.

Tony Reynolds officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. Burial will follow in the Randolph Baptist Church Cemetery.
