JAMES EDWARD “EDDIE” DAVIS, age 59 of Sterrett, passed away suddenly on June 29, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Chilton County on December 4, 1958; the son of the late James Almond Davis and the late Gladys Mae Washington Davis. He was a marketing manager for the United Championship Racing Alliance.

He is survived by: Sister, Carolyn (John) Cochran of Alabaster; Sister, Linda Davis (Mark) Huff of Palestine, TX; Brother, Jason (Linda) Davis of San Antonio, TX; 4 Nieces; 3 Nephews; and a host of cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 1:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home at Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera with Rev. Foster Poe officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera, AL. Final care and arrangements entrusted to the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home at Shelby Memory Gardens of Calera, AL.
