Domenick J. Cilli, 94, of Mingo Jct. Died Friday, March 8, 2019 at Valley Hospice. He was born June 24, 1924 in Mingo Jct.

He is the son of the late Frank and Jesse Orsini Cilli. Also preceding him in death are his first wife Helen McDonough Cilli, second wife Velma Jedneski Cilli, son Thomas Cilli, brother Anthony Cilli and two sisters Mary Kucer and Ann Wargacki. Domenick was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel where he worked as an Assistant Roller in the 44-inch for 40 years.

He also worked as Steubenville Township Constable for 18 years. Domenick was a member of the American Legion Post 33. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII.

While serving he earned a Bronze Star and the Combat Infantryman’s Badge. Surviving are one son John (Sandy) of Steubenville; one daughter Diana Rafiani of Weirton; two sisters Jean Grishkevich of Follansbee and Lillian Parmenter of Mingo Jct. ; five grandchildren Tonette Pasela, Nicole Valles, John Cilli, Christina Healey, Stacia Knierim and thirteen great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. , Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 am at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Fr.

James Dunfee will celebrate. Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

A vigil service will be Sunday at 5:45 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Agnes Catholic Church, 204 St. Clair Ave. , Mingo Jct.
