Donald A. Hoeppner, age 81, of Sheboygan went to be with The Lord on Saturday, November 24, 2018. Donald was born in Sheboygan on October 31, 1937 to the late Arnold and Mae (Chickowski) Hoeppner. He attended local schools and graduated from Central High School in 1955.

Donald was united in marriage to Phyllis Pluskat on March 11, 1961 at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. He was employed at Kingsbury Breweries Company and then at Sheboygan Beverage Inc. where he retired from. Donald… Read More » enjoyed racing, hunting and a good malted beverage.

Later in life he loved spending time with his granddaughters. They always brought a smile to his face. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Donald is survived by his wife, Phyllis; a son Ronald Hoeppner of Sheboygan and a daughter Donna (John) Kruse of Oshkosh; granddaughters, Danielle (Kyle) Picard of Howards Grove, Shannon Hoeppner of Kansas City, MO, Stephanie (Matt) Haas of Johnson Creek and Kendra (Jake) Gundrum of Glendale, AZ; great-granddaughters Brinley Haas and Sophie Gundrum; a sister Shirley (Harold) Fenn; three brothers, Kenny (Carolyn), Arnie (Karen) and Jerry (Melissa) and a sister-in-law Pat Hoeppner. Other friends and family further survive. Along with his parents, Donald was preceded in death by a brother Dennis Hoeppner and sisters Doris (Everett) Schober, Virginia (Marvin Sr.) Goetsch and Joyce (Ron) Strysick.

A Memorial Service for Donald will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Zimmer Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd. in Sheboygan with Rev. Brett Matz officiating.

The family will greet visitors on Friday at the funeral home from 11:00 AM from until the time of service at 1 PM. Inurnment will take place at Greendale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Donald’s name.
