Obituary for Mr. Donald Clinton Parker Sr Mr. Donald C. Parker Sr. age 78 of Bryceville, passed away Friday, April 20, 2018. Mr. Parker was born in Michigan and was a United States Navy Veteran.

He had been a resident of Bryceville for the last 42 years. Mr. Parker was a retired crane operator, having worked at Gerdau Steel for twenty-five years. He was a volunteer firefighter in Bryceville and the assistant Sunday school director at Bryceville First Baptist Church where he was a member.

He enjoyed playing cards with his best friend, Ron Raulerson, and spending time with his family, friends, and his dog, Bud. He was known to have a sweet tooth and especially enjoyed eating ice cream. Mr. Parker will be remembered as a fun-loving, friendly man who never met a stranger.

He is survived by his son: Donald C. (Tammy) Parker Jr. of Bryceville; daughter: Rebecca (Alan) Anderson of Callahan; grandchildren: Duane (Myranda) Anderson, Ashley Parker, Donovan Parker, and Andy Anderson; and one great grandchild: Carter Anderson. He was preceded in death by his wife: Carolyn Parker; parents: Edward and Edna Parker; brother: Ronald Parker; and sister: Leona Duckwitz. Funeral services will be held 12:00pm, Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Bryceville First Baptist Church with Pastor Terry Yerby officiating.
