His endearing nature will be remembered fondly by many grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, close friends and acquaintances, whose lives have been enriched by his own.

After graduating from Watertown High School, he married Ilene J. Boyden, purchased a home and moved to Dexter, where, together, they raised three children, until divorce. His commitment to being a dedicated father and providing for his family never wavered. He worked tirelessly as a life-long employee of the New York Air Brake Corporation and proud member of the International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers, until retirement.

He derived joy from giving and sharing that which he earned to his family, friends and those in need. He enjoyed laughing with anyone and everyone, sharing stories with new and old acquaintances and appreciating the simplicity of a life lived with peace and the well-being of others as reward for his sacrifices. His mark on this world will live forever in the marks of the many lives he touched with his love for others.
