Obituary for Donald E. Swarthout Funeral services for Donald Swarthout, 74, of Pace, Florida, will be Friday, September 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Interment will be at the Chariton Cemetery. Family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow the interment service at the funeral home.

Don is survived by his wife, Doris Swarthout; children: Teri (Steve) Huwe, Daniel (Angie) McCulloch, Dede (Rick) LaFleur, and Denise (Donnovan) Mabile; eight grandchildren: Lacey, Dawson, Carter, Caroline, Chase, Haden, Mia, and Reese; two great grandchildren; brother, Tom (Julie) Swarthout; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Preceding him in death were is parents: Lowell and Betty Swarthout; daughter, Lori Swarthout; and brother, Al Swarthout. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Donald E.
