Obituary for Donald Joseph Adams Jr. Donald Joseph Adams, Jr. entered into eternal life on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the age of 29. A native of New Orleans, Donald was born on October 24, 1989. He was a graduate of the McDonogh #35 Roneagle Class of 2008 and attended Southeastern Louisiana University.

Donald, was the son of Rachelle D. Gilliard (Marvin) and Donald J. Adams, Sr. (Charlene); Grandson of Charles and the late Joyce Denson, Donald Joseph Picou and the late Juanita Adams. Loving brother of Jason Denson and step-brother of Cortez Bryant. He is also survived by a godchild (Emilee Hunter) and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces/nephews, and friends.

Donald also known as “Duckie” was an avid Die Hard Saints fan. He attended almost every game this season, home and away, to witness his beloved New Orleans Saints march on to victory. He made sure to be at the games early to participate in the “Who Dat” chant before his boys stormed the Dome.

Relatives and friends of the family also priests and parishioners of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, employees of United States Postal Service and Louis Armstrong Airport (TSA), and friends and family of Edison Chouest Offshore LLC are invited to attend a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am on Friday, December 28, 2018 at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 7300 Crowder Blvd. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Interment: Private. Arrangements by DW Rhodes Funeral Home.
