Donald’s Obituary Memorial Services will be held from 10 AM on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Bridge Fellowship, 2005 Rees Street Breaux Bridge for Donald Joseph” Mr. Don” Leblanc, 67, who passed away on May 13, 2019 at his home with his wife by his side. Pastor Rodney Chitwood will be officiating the services. A long live resident of Breaux Bridge, Donald Joseph “Mr. Don” was born on Feb.

6, 1952 to Dorcineau and Verna Melancon LeBlanc. Being a faithful Member of Bridge Fellowship, he enjoyed Bible Studies, church activities, fishing, fly tying, hunting and loved to tell a good story. His presence, wisdom, generosity and voice will be greatly missed by all who came to know him.

Donald is survived by his wife of 18 years, Rosario (Rosie) LeBlanc; son Travis LeBlanc; daughter Julie and her extended family; grandson Dylan and wife Morgan Hebert Leblanc; stepchildren, Amanda Squires and husband Kevin of Cypress, Texas; brother Jerry Leblanc and wife Lorretta of Breaux Bridge; sister Peggy Dodd and husband James of Lakewood, Colorado and their extended family; sister-in-law Anita Alverez and husband Mike of Uvalde, Texas; paternal aunts Jane Guidry, Willa Mae (Richard) Knott, and Rose Green, uncle Richard LeBlanc; maternal Aunt Mary Elaine Melancon, Uncles Howard and Lester Melancon. Don is also survived by Rosie’s children and grandchildren, especially Jalissa Nicholas, who will greatly miss her “Pop”, and great grandson Madden LeBlanc and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Dorcineau and Verna Melancon LeBlanc; paternal grandparents Odon and Clara Blanchard LeBlanc; maternal grandparents Henry and Elione Melancon.
