Donald “Uncle Don” Landskov, 85, of Seattle, passed away suddenly on May 6, 2018. Don was born February 11, 1933 to Mel and Ramona Landskov in Enumclaw. He was a 1951 Enumclaw High School graduate.

After graduating, Don joined the US Army and served in the Korean War. Upon his honorable discharge he began working for the railroad. While his true passion was in the remodeling of numerous homes throughout Seattle, he thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

He also enjoyed playing any card game, but cribbage was at the top of the list. After spending the last 55 years living in Seattle and San Francisco, Don was planning to move back to his home town of Enumclaw. Don is survived by his sister Arlene Hubber of Enumclaw; 3 nieces and 2 nephews; 5 great nieces and 5 great nephews; 6 great-great nieces and 7 great-great nephews; and lifelong friends Hedy Hendry and Joann Clarke.

He is preceded in death by his parents Mel and Ramona Landskov of Enumclaw; sister and brother-in-law Donna and Bill Hickenbottom of Enumclaw; brother-in-law Richard Hubber of Enumclaw; and life partner Joe Merkins of Seattle. There will be a Celebration of Life-Open House on Saturday, June 16th from 1-4pm at his sister Arlene Hubber’s residence, 1021 Garfield St., Enumclaw. The family requests donations to honor Don’s memory be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 19031 33rd Ave.
