Donald Carlson, 90, of Rockford, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018. Born November 25, 1927 in Rockford to Bengt and Ellen (Holmes) Carlson. Raised in Cherry Valley, IL and graduated from Belvidere High School.

Served in the Navy in WWII. Retired from Broadway-Perryville Builders. Survived by his wife, Pauline; son, Craig (Karen) Carlson and daughter, Darlene Ward; four grandchildren, Steve, Rick, Bob, and Candace; and five great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by parents and brother, LeRoy, who was KIA in WWII. Private Graveside service for family.
