Saginaw, Michigan Beloved father and grandfather passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper Campus. Age 90 years. The son of the late Leo and Rose (Klimek) Cherwinski, Don was born on November 30, 1928 in Saginaw, Michigan.

He married Mary Norton on April 3, 1959. She preceded him to heaven on February 18, 1994. Don was employed by Saginaw Steering Gear for 38 year until his retirement in 1986.

Surviving are one son, Donald (Tina) Cherwinski, Jr., and their children, Jason and Julia Cherwinski; one daughter, Cheryl Cherwinski, and her daughter Ashley Cherwinski. Don was preceded in death by a son, Richard Cherwinski. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Jehovah Witness Community for their weekly visits and spiritual guidance.

Honoring Mr. Cherwinski’s wishes cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Donald R. Cherwinski Sr. please visit our Sympathy Store.
