Donald Read Olmstead of Ormond Beach, Fl. died September 15, 2018. He was born in the Bronx to the late Edwin & May Bell Johnson Olmstead.

He resided in Rhode Island and then Rye, NY. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was a senior auditor for the Travelers until his retirement with Citi Group.

Donald is survived by his wife Patricia Chalmers Olmstead and his son Donald. both of Ormond Beach, FL. Also his loving family Leslie Olmstead Mertens, Donald Olmstead, Richard Chalmers, Donna Stoerzinger Kendall, Bonnie Stoerzinger Cerone, Robert & Scott Stoerzinger plus 20 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 9AM on Saturday September 22, 2018 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Funeral service will follow at 10:30AM. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery Rye Brook, NY Craft Memorial Home, Inc. 40 Leicester St. Port Chester, NY www.
