Donald W. Felton, 94, Lincoln Highway of Breezewood died at 6:50 AM, Thursday, March 14th, 2019 at home. Mr. Felton was born in Breezewood on April 26, 1924, son of the late Frank C. and Mildred I. (Nycum) Felton. On April 20, 1952 he married Helen M. (Hoy) Felton at the Providence Methodist Church by the Rev.

J. Robert Hovenstine. In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughter- Sally (Felton) wife of Joe Facchinei, Franklin, TN; Daughter- Judy (Felton) wife of John Carlin, Breezewood; Granddaughter- Rhiannon Facchinei, wife of Justin Dorris, Franklin, TN; Grandson- Ryan Whetstone, Pittsburgh. Donald is preceded in death by two sons Jerry and Jeffrey Felton and two Brothers- Robert and Richard Felton.

Don worked at Snyder Gateway Inn and did custom farming. Then went into Motel business with his two Brothers, building the Quality Inn Breeze Manor Motel in 1952. After the passing of his two brothers, Don operated the motel until he retired in 2000.

Mr. Felton was a member of the Everett Lodge No. 524 of Free and Accepted Masons, a member of the Valley of Harrisburg Consistory, as well as a member of the Scottish Rite of Jaffa, Altoona. Donald served on the board of the Breezewood Branch of the Everett Bank.

He also served on the East Providence Municipal Authority. He was President of the Crystal Spring Camp Association and served on the board for a number of years. Don was one of the original members of Breezewood Lions Clubs.

He was past president of the Breezewood and Bedford County Tourist Association. Mr. Felton served on the board of Quality Inns for regions four and five. Don was an avid hunter, local and in the West as well as British Columbia.

He also enjoyed skiing in the West and Canada. Donald was a life-long member of the Breezewood Methodist Church, Breezewood. Friends will be received on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 6-8PM and Tuesday, March 19, from 1-2 PM at the Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Everett.

. A funeral service will be held at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Everett at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 with Pastor John Bennett officiating. Interment at Everett Cemetery, Everett Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Donald W. Felton to the Crystal Spring Camp Meeting Association, c/o Jason Bryant, Treasurer, 1030 N. Breezewood Road, Breezewood, PA 15533 or to the Breezewood United Methodist Church, 184 N. Main Street, Breezewood, PA 15533.
