Donald’s Obituary Donald Wayne “Don” Tice, 72, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019, in Oklahoma City, OK. Don was born on February 22, 1947, in Elmira, NY to parents Joseph & Delia (O’Connell) Tice. Don took a step forward on a path of service for his country and his community.

It’s a path that goes beyond the wearing of a uniform. Don’s path was that of a U.S. Marine. Don served in the Vietnam War and knew what it took to be loyal, committed, accountable, and selfless.

Don learned to adapt and overcome even after his time served in the military. This was shown by the pride he also felt for his loving family. Don married his beloved wife Bonnie and spent 52 years planting the roots of a beautiful family together.

Don is preceded in death by his parents Joseph & Delia Tice; brothers, Jack & Ronnie Tice, and sister, Yvonne. Don is survived by his wife, Bonnie Tice; daughter, Carol Tice & partner Terri Potts; daughter, Lori Joyner & husband Karl; grandchildren, Tori & Evan Joyner, Laci & Robert Irion; great-grandchild, Nova Lynn Joyner; brothers, Joseph, Billie, Alton, and Michael Tice, and sister, Sandra Tice. A come and go Visitation with USMC funeral honors will be held from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2019, at Yanda & Son Funeral Home, Yukon, OK.
