Mr. Donald Wray Horton, age 81, of Mary Lou Circle, Gadsden, Alabama died on Sunday, July 28, 2018 at Princeton Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at Two o’clock p.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at McRae Funeral Home Chapel. Bro.

James Wallace, Bro. Bill Lett and Bro. Wayne White officiating.

Music by Bob Sellers, formerly of The Kingsmen Quartet. Burial will follow in the Bethsaida Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Horton was born in Horton, Alabama on July 25, 1937 to John Ellis & Ila Kate Smith Horton. He retired from Goodyear after 31 years of service. Mr. Horton is survived by his wife: June Phillips Horton of Gadsden, Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Kim & David Cannon and Kristi & Chris Bradford all of Birmingham, Grandchildren: Jacqueline Anne Cannon, Nicolas Horton Bradford and Olivia Kate Bradford, Brother: Kyle Horton of Boaz, Sister-in-Law & Brother-in-Law: Beth & John Nichols of Birmingham, several nieces and nephews and a host of cousins.

Pallbearers will be David Cannon, Chris Bradford, Chris Nichols, Phillip Nichols, Nicolas Bradford, Ben Gamel, Randy Phillips and John Nichols. Honorary pallbearers will be Bro. Albert Morgan, Billy Yates and Henry McKelvey.
