Obituary for Donna Elizabeth Groves Canup Donna Elizabeth Groves Canup, age 55 of Clarkesville, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018. Born in Stephens County on March 13, 1963, she was a daughter of Bessie Free Groves of Clarkesville and the late Floyd Groves. Ms. Canup was a self-employed caretaker and enjoyed playing the guitar, attending yard sales, riding motorcycles, and raising cattle.

She was a member of Stonepile Baptist Church and was currently attending Rocky Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Canup. In addition to her mother, surviving are daughter and boyfriend, Kendra Canup of Clarkesville and Seth Blackburn of Alto; companion, Benny Loggins of Demorest; brother, Dennis Groves of Clarkesville; sister, Deborah Groves of Clarkesville; nephews, Daniel Groves of Clarkesville and Dustin Groves of Demorest; niece, DeLeah Cross of Clarkesville.

Funeral services are 11:00 am Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Rocky Grove Baptist Church, 6900 Bridge Creek Rd, Tiger, GA 30576 with Rev. Kyle Watts officiating. All family and friends are requested to meet at the church by 10:30 am on Saturday.

Interment will follow in Stonepile Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-8 pm on Friday. An online guest register is available and may be viewed at www.
