Obituary for Leola Moore Jameson LEOLA MOORE JAMESON, age 90 of Clarkesville, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 30, 2018. Born in Habersham County, Georgia on September 22, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Calter & Susie Pearl Henderson Moore. Mrs. Jameson was a homemaker and an accomplished seamstress for a number of years.

She enjoyed gardening, especially planting azaleas. Mrs. Jameson loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, & great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Homemaker’s Club, former member of Mt.

Zion Baptist Church, and member of Antioch Baptist Church for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Adolphus “Knox” Jameson, infant sister, brothers, Bill Moore, Roy Moore, Carl Moore, & son-in-law, Doug Norton. Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Roger & Barbara Jameson of Clarkesville, GA; daughter, Brenda Sue Norton of Alabaster, AL; 3 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 07, 2018 at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Webb, Rev. Paul Jameson, & Rev.

Jerry Mize officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Charles Blackstock officiating at the graveside.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Antioch Baptist Church Building Fund, 2175 Antioch Church Rd. , Mt.
