Obituary for Troy McEntire Troy McEntire, age 72 of Mt. Airy, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018. Born in Mt.

Airy, Georgia on October 22, 1945, to the late John Henry and Edith Eller McEntire. Mr. McEntire was a former saw miller and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, David, Robert and Charles McEntire.

Surviving are wife, Betty Elizabeth Dill Smith of Mt. Airy; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn and Marshall Herrin of Cornelia, Sylvia Dill and Ken Powell of Alto, Joyce Wiley of Alto and Leola Worley of Cornelia; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial services are 12 noon on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev.

Dennis Wade and Rev. Sanford Kimbrell officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 am until the service hour on Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of one’s choice.
